You might save the headache and buy those parts to then give them to a trusted Luthier. I made my own 50s style harness by purchasing a soldering station, new Alpha A500k and B500k pots, along with a genuine Epiphone switch and jack, orange drop caps as well as braided and cloth wiring.

It's a significant investment to change the wiring harness and have Lollar install their 50s wind inside the stock covers but it's a major improvement on tone. The pickups sounded nice but I was plugged into the shops £2000 orange amp set up. The electronics as you say are apparently upgraded on all epiphone I think now, and they felt smooth and tighter than my older epiphones. I have definitely seen a lot of posts on other forums saying the bridge rattles but this is an inexpensive upgrade. In my little time spent with it I didn't notice any rattle on the bridge but in the research I have done the bridge and tuners seem to be what people are saying is the only weak point. Other than that it was a solid built guitar as I would expect from modern epiphones. Not so much the finish or quality but the neck etc, I've only tried a Casino once before and wasn't keen then either. I'll be honest and say I didn't particularly like the feel, I tried the denim blue one. Hi, I too was interested in a worn casino. Perhaps all the excellent low cost guitars coming out of Asia are causing the 'big boys' to improve quality in their more affordable classic designs? I like all the worn color options, but leaning towards black at this point (and no pick guard for me).

Would somebody who owns a 2021 Casino worn tell me if I'm correct, because what you learn online isn't always true. I assumed changing pickups and wiring would be necessary, then the hardware, but apparently the pickups, pots, and switches have been upgraded, and the bridge saddle posts are thicker now, tuners better, and the bridge doesn't have the annoying buzz anymore. I'm thinking of buying a new 2021 Epi Casino worn soon, which are getting harder to find, but still selling for about $500-600USD. Apparently they changed the P-90 pickup type used this year, while last year they still had the older type.? They are supposedly lower output now (classics?), with more clarity and better highs, rather than the middy-muddy higher powered P-90 pickups, especially noticeable at higher volumes. The new 2021 Epiphone Casino WORN guitars apparently have better sounding pickups, according to a couple reviews I've read and heard.
